About Me

We actually believe our happiness will come from outside things or people.  Happiness, true happiness comes from the inside out. “My name is Phyllis Du’Gas and I’m a writer.”

I’m a writer not looking to be successful; my goal is to be significant!  I write about the human experience.  I’m human and Lord knows I’ve had my share of experiences.  I’ve had a very vibrant life thus far and I realize that many of you have also.  We’re more connected than you realize.  We have the same simple desires, but often, our eyes for happiness are bigger than our digestive tracts.  We’re looking for a great life and a great love in all the wrong places.  We’ve placed our hope in other people and things that will never be able to deliver.   I believe in self evaluation.  I believe in the possibilities.  The world is going to keep turning.  What choices will you make?

I agree with you that people are always looking for someone else to ease their pain in life,if we want real comfort we must first of all not place our hope in man or things, but in”God.I believe I can do nothing without him but with him I can do all things.

  • I agree with you , real happiness can be attained only if we trust God . Neither money , people and places can make us real happy . Happiness is doing what is pleasing to the sight our creator. Simple Love even until it Hurts.

Getting back to our spiritual nature is the key that unlocks the door for finding the real way to happiness. It is not in material life but in uplifting ourselves to rise above it where independent happiness is found, and helping others to do the same.

  • That was beautiful.
