Almost one month after the shocking and untimely death of the world’s best entertainer, the investigation has now turned into a possible homicide? I watched the reports earlier today when the police served a warrant and searched the Houston, Texas medical offices of Conrad Murray, M.D., the last physician who was with Michael Jackson when he died and who, according to reports, administered CPR on him for nearly 30 minutes before calling paramedics. Before I go any further let me say this: I loved Michael Jackson. I believe he was one of our brightest and gifted entertainers.
Why has the investigation now turned to possible manslaughter? Could it be we’ve learned something from the Anna Nicole tragedy? Michael Jackson was not the first celebrity, nor will he be the last, to receive prescription medications from a physician. When will any of the blame fall on Michael Jackson? While he was a mega star, he was also human.
Money talks and bullshit walks! Conrad Murray was hired with a reported payday of $150,000 a month to be Michael’s personal physician at the upcoming “This is It Tour.” That’s like car insurance. He wanted to have this doctor available, for what? Just in case he fell ill during the tour? I don’t understand that.
If Conrad Murray was in fact administering Propofol to Michael Jackson, he needs to be prosecuted! Let’s rewind for a minute: Michael Jackson openly professed to having to go into rehab for a drug problem he had developed. Was I the only one that saw that video?
In a world of managed healthcare, physician’s are suffering financially. My personal physician of 17 years broke it down for me with passion. Under managed healthcare a $5,000 surgery will only net the physician around $500.00. YES – $500.00. That’s why we’re having so many useless surgeries, but that’s for another blog topic.
You’re a physician and you get a call from Michael Jackson telling you that he will pay you any dollar amount you want if you provide him what he needs, what would you do? Someone had to administer the drug Propofol to Michael Jackson. It’s not the type of drug he could administer to himself because someone needs to be present to stop the drip so he’d wake-up.
Again, if Dr. Murray did this, he broke the law and his hypocratic oath, but you can’t tell me he was the only doctor involved.
Jermaine Jackson, in his Matt Lauer today show interview said that he would be shocked if the coroner’s report came back stating that Michael died because of drugs because, “He wasn’t into that kind of thing.” I guess Jermaine missed that video of Michael’s statement that he was addicted to prescription drugs!
It’s real easy to point the finger when someone suddenly dies. Joe Jackson has appeared on every talk show that will have him to say he feels “foul play” was involved. Perhaps it helps ease the guilt that Michael had a problem and noone intervened.
So I ask you, who’s responsible for the death of Michael Jackson?

It is all just so sad. It will be interesting to see exactly what the outcome of this is. Personally I think Joe Jackson said ‘foul play’ is because there really was. I think he was alive in the ambulence, and the hospital suspiciously did not keep him alive. A hefty money donation when Michael passes away to the hospital? Hmmm…check out this article on possible murder:

Scary to say the least.

Unintentional manslaughter will no doubt be the charge given Dr. Conrad Murray after this latest parade of facts are released on Michael Jackson. I wasn’t shocked at the case now being deemed a “homicide investigation,” it was always that. If we are to believe the latest round of news, which by the way, has not come directly from the coroner’s office, but the investigation, Michael had at least four drugs in his system when his heart stopped. Is Conrad Murray a lone doctor in this scenario, or should other doctor’s be held liable?
