The World says Goodbye to Michael Jackson

Now that the details have been put in place on Michael Jackson’s funeral, I for one am hoping things will calm down. I’m sure they won’t, but at least Michael Jackson will be laid to rest. Over half a million requests have been submitted to attend the July 7th Staples Center memorial. According to published reports, the memorial at Staples will be a simulcast. Michael Jackson will have already been buried as the family is having a private funeral before the memorial at Forest Lawn in Los Angeles.

In death, as in life, Michael Jackson has received much scrutiny. Nine days in death and the media has remained the biggest set of leeches; capitalizing and speculating for top ratings.

Did Michael abuse prescription drugs? He may have, but it didn’t affect his music.

Was Michael the biological father of his three children? Of course he wasn’t, but that doesn’t mean they weren’t showered with love.

Will Debbie Rowe sue for custody because of Joe Jackson’s influence? I don’t possibly see how she could, considering she signed her rights away and pretty much bore them for money AND Katherine and Joe Jackson haven’t been together for years.

Michael will be buried in a $25,000 Bronze/14karat gold coffin! SO…and….he’s the King of Pop. What were they supposed to bury him in – a pine box?

What will he leave for his children? He’ll leave plenty. With record sells skyrocketing and unreleased songs yet to be published, the children will be secure. Forty percent of that equates to millions, even after everyone gets a cut. My concern is the emotional affect all of this will have on them. In just six short years, the oldest children will be 17 and 18.

No matter what is written, said or yet to be revealed – Michael Jackson wrote the soundtrack to many of our lives. I recall every song vividly from “ABC” through “You Rock My World.” Michael reached out to the world through his music with songs like “Man in the Mirror” and “Heal the World.” He co-wrote “We are the World” with Lionel Ritchie. Michael Jackson invented the music video and put MTV on the map. He was a sensitive and caring human being, a humanitarian who had many demons not of his making.

I heard one of the reps for AEG quote Michael when he requested a personal physician for the London tour. Michael told him – (pointing to his body) “This is a machine that fuels all of this.” That statement was profound to me and I thought, “Yeah, he was a machine alright, he was an ATM machine for many people.”

Michael may you find peace in death that so eluded you in life. Your legacy is priceless.

  • Nice tribute to Michael. His legacy will live on for certain. Man in the Mirror had the biggest effect on me. I’m also a Thriller fan with the rest of the world. I remember the day it aired on t.v. Each time it would come on I’d have sit and watch. Michael Jackson’s father ripped Michael’s spirit from a young age. I never believed he had a disease that changed him from dark to white. He was trying to cover the pain.

Rest in peace Michael. I love you but your music will live on forever and ever.

  • For me, it was Never Can Say Goodbye.

    Nice site, you’re beautiful!

  • Heal the World and Human Nature are two of my favorites, but I also like the old Jackson 5 songs. What a tragic loss.

  • JORDAN CHANDLER ADMITS HE LIED ABOUT MICHAEL JACKSON

    (June 27, 2009 )

After the sudden death of Michael Jackson, Chandler tells the truth.

In 1993, Chandler told a psychiatrist and police that he and Jackson had engaged in sexual acts that included oral sex, the boy gave detailed description of Jackson’s genitals. The case was settled out of court for a reported $22 million, but the strain led Jackson to begin taking painkillers. Eventually he became addicted.

Maybe for the remorse of his death Chandler decides to tell us the truth.

Chandler comments: “I never meant to lie and destroy Michael Jackson my father made me tell those lies. Now I can’t tell Michael how much I’m sorry and if he will forgive me.”

Evan Chandler was tape-recorded saying amongst other things, “If I go through with this, I win big-time. There’s no way I’ll lose. I will get everything I want and they will be destroyed forever…”

Under the influence of a controversial father who told his son to tell that, Michael Jackson had touched his penis. Jordan Chandler then told a psychiatrist and later police that he and Jackson had engaged in acts of kissing, masturbation and oral sex, as well as giving a detailed description of what he alleged were the singer’s genitals.

“Now for the first time I can’t bear to lie anymore. Michael Jackson didn’t do anything to me, all was my father’s lies to escape from being poor.”

NOTE: This story has been circulating on the internet for awhile. I would think the news outlets (Access/Extra, etc. etc.) would cover this story so the validity of it is unsure.

FOR THE RECORD: I always thought he was innocent!
